COLUMBUS, Ohio – It’s a tradition unlike any other – voting on the Sloopys, Capitol Letter’s Ohio annual political awards.
Late each year, we ask our readers for their opinions of the people who run the state government. We reserve some extra lumps of coal for our elected officials, though we tease them in the full holiday spirit, and we offer up a few gifts as well.
Nominations are easy. Just fill out as many of the 27 categories as you wish. Click here to vote.
Nominations will run until 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, with voting starting the following week. We’ll announce the winners in the Dec. 22 edition of Capitol Letter (unless we decide to do it sooner.)
